poor ventilationprivate event
The gym WAS tiny. It lacked proper ventilation SO the smell of body odour was overriding. the restaurant had a private party event so we were unable to eat at the hotel however there was a great bakery a few doors down and Whole Foods is a few blocks away and they had a tasty buffet. It was very reasonably priced.

Awesome Stay!

very nice vieweasy parkingrooftop barautomatic lighting
I loved the rooftop bar! The view was very nice, and I easily found a lounger this October (it wasn't too crowded, yay!). Valet parking made everything super easy (I just left my car right at the door).
I had some trouble with the room's automatic lighting, though. The lights kept shutting off quickly, I had to keep pressing the wall button (a little annoying!).
Location
9/10
The location is perfect for accessing public transportation. Bus stops and the metro are within walking distance. A shopping mall and various stores are also nearby for convenience.
Dining
9/10
Food at The Exchange is really tasty, I enjoyed it. The coffee bar makes a fantastic Flat White (it was so good!). There are many breakfast spots located near the hotel.
Facilities
8/10
The quad rooms have individual lights and lockers (so useful!). Clean towels were available. The rooftop is pretty nice and generally not too crowded.

Solid Stay Downtown

easy accessmetro stationcomplimentary towelsfriendly staffnight security
I stayed in the hotel for three nights. It provided easy access to a nearby metro station. It was about a ten-minute walk. This allowed easy travel to places like Santa Monica. The rooftop bar featured a pool with complimentary towels. I also appreciated the security at night, made the place secure.
The room I stayed in had minimal open space. The ladder to the bunk was difficult to use. This required climbing horizontally.
